Welcome to our website!
The Foundation Madre Herlinda Moises was founded in 1965 as a missionary group by the Austrian Sister Maria Herlinda Moises, who came to Colombia in the year 1952 as a missionary of the Franciscan order, along with a team of priests, sisters and laymen. The service for the good of the poor and those in need in the community started in Pasacaballos (map), a small suburb of Cartagena de Indias and is continued here to this day.
Today we work in the areas of social development and projects, health, culture, education and environment as well as pastoring in villages along the Dique-canal and the bay around Cartagena de Indias: Pasacaballos, Ararca, Leticia, Puerto Badel, Recreo, Rocha, Turbana, Chorro la Legua and Cañaveral.
